TRAINEE/ACCOUNT MANAGER
Accurate Telecom, a growing telecommunications company in the San Fernando Valley, is looking for a hard working, self motivated individual to join our Sales department. We are seeking an entry level Sales Associate to join our growing team. Accurate Telecom, Inc is one of Southern California’s leading business communications companies established in 1989 and located in the San Fernando Valley. We provide innovative business telecommunications products & services from manufacturers such as Mitel, Toshiba, Active Voice, AT&T and others.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Accurate Telecom is seeking an individual looking to develop and expand their sales proficiency through hands on training, coaching and immersion in product knowledge. Starting as an inside sales position, this position has the potential promotion track to Account Manager II or Senior Account Manager. A successful candidate will work with our Sales team to target business decision-makers such as IT managers, CIO’s, CFO’s and company owners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works closely with the Sales team to:
- Assess marketing opportunities and target markets, intelligence gathering on prospective members, generating leads, and performs follow-up sales calls.
- Actively prospect for leads, secure appointments with decision makers and propose services to prospective clients.
- Schedule presentations with prospective client.
- Implement strategic business plans to grow and cultivate new prospects.
- Comply with all company sales documentation procedures.
- Achieve results and long term strategic goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Some college, AA or higher degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of demonstrated success and experience in selling business to business. Prefer some knowledge of telephone systems, voicemail or other big-ticket enterprise hardware/software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated willingness to work 40-50 hour work weeks.
- Punctuality and regular work attendance are required.
- Detail oriented and computer literate, Excel and Word.
- Ability to learn new technologies and learn to speak IT Managers language.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic.
- Heavy telephone prospecting and networking required.
- Receptive to ongoing coaching and close supervision.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Base salary plus commissions (worth $58K to $67K based on quota attainment).
- Performance bonus (for exceeding quota).
