Telecom Technician

At Accurate our mission is to reduce our customer’s costs while improving their telecommunications capabilities. We enjoy the growing and changing telecom and technology industry and we are looking for a Technician that shares that same interest to join our team. 

In the Technician role you are responsible for performing installations, implementations and support on site at customer locations. In this role you can also expect to troubleshoot, provide demonstrations and end user training, as well as programming support. Successful Technicians at Accurate have Mitel and/or Toshiba experience and are technically savvy, a professional presence, are results oriented and enjoy working with customers to ensure satisfaction. 

 
 

Primary Responsibilities 
· Installation, programming, end user training and general support of all products. 
· Install analog and digital voice and data telecommunications equipment including, VOIP systems, PBX   systems, key systems, and peripherals. 
· Perform basic and advanced telecommunications technician based troubleshooting. 
· Repair or replace faulty equipment such as defective and damaged telephones, cabling, system cards,       circuit packs and associated equipment. 
· Analyze customer needs and properly install and service equipment based on assessment. 
· Must be able to climb ladders to install, maintain or inspect equipment. 

Requirements
· Experience with Toshiba and/or Mitel.  Some experience with VoIP products

· 3-5 years of experience in a similar position working with telephone, networks and cabling
· A minimum of three years of experience working with PRI, T1, SIP Trunking and ACD
· Valid California Driver’s License

Preferred
· Network Administration/PC administration
